Ministry of Hospitality
The Ministry of Hospitality, also known as Ushers, is one of the oldest Lay Ministry in the Catholic Church. Our Minister of Hospitality's primary duties are to greet and welcome Parishioners as they enter the church for the Eucharistic Celebration, hand out hymnals, assist in finding seating, facilitate the offertory collection, coordinate the offertory procession and distribute bulletins after the Mass. Also, our ushers must be attentive to any emergency situations, maintain emergency exits and any other requests by the Celebrant during the Mass. A commitment to serve at specific scheduled Masses, on Holidays and Holy Days of Obligation is expected.
The Ministry of Hospitality is open to all men, women, couples and young adults who will effectively serve our community with their friendliness, warmth, helpfulness and dependability. You are welcomed to be a part of this Ministry.
