Needy Outreach
Minister of Care
The parish offers short term, emergency assistance to individuals or families who are experiencing a difficult time or a temporary setback throughout the year. Clients must be eligible for this program that provides food and/or food voucher and more. A home visit may be required to determine further needs, as a visitor to the home, may be seen, as a bearer of hope. The Caring Minister does not give advice, try to rescue or fix the individual's personal situation. He or she can give referrals to local organizations that offer support and counseling to help in specific situations.

To volunteer in this ministry, training is required or previous experience.

Casserole program
We currently support Good Shepherd Center for the homeless in Toronto.
Homemade or ready-made casseroles are brought to the church by 10 am every first Friday of the month. Casseroles pans/lids are available outside the parish office.

Charity Sunday Food Drive
Every month’s end – last weekend of the month we collect donations of non-perishable food and food gift cards. These are distributed to our local charitable agencies who offer a food bank program on a regular basis. Your donation no matter how small makes a difference in someone’s life.

Other donations
In addition, we will collect “used clothes” in good condition that will be donated to various charitable agencies.

Do you have furniture in good conditions? Contact i-Care Furniture Bank , Peggy at Tele: 905-452-6248 to make arrangements for pick up/delivery – 2626 Mayfield Road, Brampton.
