Registrations for children wishing to receive the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion this school year are now open. You must have registered your child by this date. At the meeting, you may pay the registration fee of $50 by cash, debit, or credit, and you will receive the book "We Prepare for Reconciliation".

All young people in grade 7 are invited to register for this year’s Confirmation Preparation Program. With the reception of this sacrament, our young people complete all the Sacraments of Initiation, receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit, and become full members of the Catholic Church. As part of our mini–Christmas Bazaar we are holding a raffle for six nativity sets of various sizes and designs, retail worth between $90.00 to $225.00. Tickets are $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00. The Nativity sets are on display in the parish office window and the tickets are available after each Mass on Sunday and in the parish office during the week starting today. On Saturday, December 17th, from 10:00AM to 2:00PM, in partnership with St. Jerome's CWL, we will be holding a Mini Christmas Bazaar and Bake Sale. There will be limited number of Christmas ornaments, stocking stuffers, handmade crafts, religious articles and items for decorating your home. We will also hold a Bake Sale, several raffles and a game of chance with prizes for children aged 6 to 12. Free apple cider, tea and coffee for all who attend. All funds raised will go to address some pressing maintenance issues in the church.

We are now accepting Altar Server registrations! If you would like to serve the Lord at the Altar during Mass on Sundays, please email Adrian Gill at gill@stjeromeparish.ca with your name, grade, school, and mass preference for alter service. You must be in grade 4 or up. Altar Server training is on Saturday, September 24th from 10:00AM to 12:30PM. You are already serving as an altar servant, please come to the training at 11:45AM for updates on procedures and processes going forward. Lunch will be provided.
The "Rite to Christian Initiation of Adults" is a process for adults seeking a personal relationship with Christ and membership in the Roman Catholic Church. It is a journey of faith in preparation to receive the Sacraments of Initiation (baptism, Holy Communion, & confirmation) at Easter Vigil.
